Are Bambini Furtuna products safe for babies?
Yes. Bambini Furtuna products are safe for children ages 6 months and up or 17 lbs and up and each product is allergy tested and registered with the FDA.
Are Bambini Furtuna products non-irritating & hypo-allergenic?
Yes. Our products have been through a battery of testing including skin irritation, eye irritation, allergenicity, and purity. They are hypo-allergenic.
Are the products safe to come into contact with all parts of the body?
Itchy Eye Solution is intended for the eye area. Boo Boo Be Gone is intended for all areas except the eyes. All our other products are safe for the skin, however, we recommend avoiding the eye and genital area.
Should I be concerned about using these products if my kids have allergies or asthma?
All of our products are hypo-allergenic. Children with asthma have different triggers. If you have any concerns, it’s always a good idea to check with your pediatrician.
Can the products be used by adults?
Yes. Most parents we know end up using the products themselves. Because adults’ bodies are larger, they might need to use more.
Are all of your ingredients organic?
Most of our ingredients are organic as we source the majority of them from our certified organic farm in Sicily. Our ingredients have been grown with no pesticides used within 100 miles and on land that hasn’t been cultivated in over 100 years. Some ingredients cannot be categorized as organic only because they’re not agricultural, including water and minerals like calcium.
Are Bambini Furtuna products tested on animals?
We never test on animals. We value the health and well-being of our planet and all its living creatures. Our products and ingredients are certified cruelty-free by PETA. They have verified that Bambini Furtuna and its sources do not conduct, commission, or pay for any testing on animals for ingredients, formulations, or finished products.
What is the shelf life of the products?
Our natural remedies are freshly made. We recommend using our products within six months after opening.
Can Bye Bye Itchy Skin be used for Eczema?
Bye Bye Itchy skin is intended for intact skin. That means that if there are any cracks in the skin surface, Bye Bye Itchy Skin is not the right fit. Boo Boo Be Gone is perfect for skin that has cracks from dryness or irritation. Fundamentally the reason for this is because water based products can cause stinging on open skin or wounds. Eczema that is flaring is wounded skin. Think of it like when you eat spicy food - to cool down the spice, you drink milk not water. That’s because the good fats create an occlusive barrier over the skin surface to seal out air and other irritants. Wounded skin needs a barrier cover, and that is exactly what Boo Boo Be Gone does. Water based products, though they aren’t inherently harmful, can create a stinging sensation on wounded skin. For dry skin that isn’t already cracked, the ideal solution is to apply a water based product, like Bye Bye Itchy Skin, followed by an occlusive product, like Boo Boo Be Gone.
Are your products vegan?
Yes. Our current product offerings are vegan and do not contain animal or animal-derived ingredients. Any non-vegan products we may make in the future will be clearly labeled as cruelty free, but not vegan.
Is any fragrance added to Bambini Furtuna products?
Bambini Furtuna products do not contain any synthetic fragrances. Although we do not add any scent to our formulas, you will smell the delightful natural aroma of our botanicals.
Are the products gluten-free?
Yes. We source materials that are certified gluten-free and test our finished products for the presence of gluten.
Do your products contain parabens?
No, they do not.
Do you use any chemicals?
We never use harsh chemicals. We have a No-No List of ingredients that we leave out of products that includes the European Union’s list of 1,300-plus banned substances. We use ingredients that are natural and safe for skin, most of which come from our own organic farm in Sicily. We do not use synthetic fragrances because they contain harsh chemicals.
My child may have had a reaction to one of your products - what should I do?
If you have any concerns, remove the product from their skin with cool soapy water or flush from the eye with cool water for at least 10 seconds, and contact your pediatrician right away.
What should I do if my child ingests one of the products?
None of our ingredients are toxic in the concentrations used. However, our products are not intended to be consumed. If you have any concerns, call your pediatrician or poison control right away. Here is the number for the National Poison Control Hotline -- 800-222-1222

Where do you ship?
We currently only ship to the United States.
What should I do if my package was stolen or lost in transit?

My tracking shows delivered, but my order has yet to arrive. What can I do?

What are your shipping options?
We offer complimentary ground shipping on all US orders. Orders are typically delivered within 3 business days.
We also offer expedited shipping for $35. Orders shipped via expedited shipping arrive within 2 business days.
When will my order ship?
Our packages are assembled by hand, usually within 24 to 72 hours. Please note that orders placed on Fridays after 1 P.M. PT will be processed the following Monday. The shipping transit times listed at checkout do not include assembly/processing time.
What is your return policy?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your products and will accept any full-sized product for a return (no exchanges), as long as it is at least half full and received within 120 days of initial purchase.

How do I change or cancel my order?
Our fulfillment system is set up to process quickly so that our customers get their products ASAP. Because of this, editing an already placed order isn’t possible at this time. If you’d like to cancel your order, please send the Bambini Furtuna Team a message immediately —email firstname.lastname@example.org — and we’ll do our best to either cancel the order or, if it’s too late to cancel, help you get a refund on any product you don’t want to keep.
